One of the most important products in your skincare routine is your moisturizer. We love a good moisturizer. It is so essential for your skin to have an effective moisturizer that keeps your skin hydrated but does not clog your pores. A moisturizer should be used morning and night, yes even if you have oily skin, maintain and keep hydration in your skin, and most importantly, work and feel good for your skin type.

Now I am a firm believer that you do not need to spend an excessive amount of money to have an effective moisturizer. So here is a list of my favorite affordable yet effective moisturizers.

Skyn Iceland: Antidote Cooling Daily Lotion $46

I love this moisturizer from Skyn Iceland. It contains willow bark extract that helps control oil, yeast extract that soothes inflamed skin, omegas that preserve the skins barrier to keep skin supple and healthy, and leaves a cooling sensation. This would be great for all skin types, especially those skin types that tend to produce more oil.

First Aid Beauty: Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer $26

Ultra Repair Moisturizer is excellent for normal to dry skin types. It is a thicker consistency that absorbs into the skin and does not leave an oily feel or shine. The ingredients work to maintain the skin barrier function and trap the hydration in the skin. This would be a great addition to your morning or nighttime skincare routine; it is also super affordable.

La Roche-Posay: Double Repair Moisturizer $19.99

Double Repair Moisturizer has ceramides that help repair and add moisture to the skin, which is especially great for those who have damaged skin or dry skin. This might be a little heavy for people with oily skin in the morning, but a great moisturizer for their nighttime routine. It also contains niacinamide, which helps brighten skin and supplies the skin with antioxidants to fight nasty free radicals in the skin. For the price, this is a fantastic moisturizer.

EltaMD: PM Therapy Facial Moisturizer $35

PM Therapy is an excellent moisturizer for all skin types and would be a fantastic addition for either day or night skincare routines. The P in PM stands for peptides, which help restore damaged skin while keeping the skin hydrated and supple. There is also niacinamide, which helps reduce redness, brighten skin, and fight free radicals. PM Therapy is excellent for preventing dehydration while restoring the skin barrier.

DERMA-E: Vitamin C Night Cream $22

DERMA-E Vitamin C Night Cream contains Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, two wonder products. Vitamin C helps brighten the skin, aid in collagen production, and revitalize the skin from the harsh environment. Hyaluronic acid helps trap moisture in the skin to keep skin healthy and hydrated. This is an excellent moisturizer for a nighttime skincare routine and all skin types.

Hope you guys find this helpful!
